9th Syro-Malankara Catholic Convention Registration Kick-Off

In tune with the decision of the Exarchial Pastoral Council meeting held on October 25, 2014, the official Registration Kick-off of the 9th Syro-Malankara Catholic Convention of North America was held on November 9 at Washington. The Kick-off of the registration was officiated by His Excellency the Most Rev. Thomas Mar Eusebius after the celebration of the Sunday Holy Mass for our Washington community. Dr. Sindu Stephen generously offered to be the Grand Mega Sponsor of the Convention. His Excellency handed over the Registration Kit to Dr. Sindu Stephen and to the Stephen family. From our community in Washington eleven families volunteered to be Golden Sponsors of the Convention and each of them received the Registration kit from His Excellency. The Golden Sponsors from our Washington community are the following: Mr. T.C. Geevarughese, Mr. Isaac George, Mr. Jacob Thomas, Mr. Varghese George, Mr. Mathew John, Mr. Thomas Philip, Mr. Rajeev Sankarathil, Mr. Joseph Kalampanayil, Mr. Justin Thomas, Mr. Giji and Mr. Pradeep Chundevalel. The Convention is to be held from August 6 to 9, 2015 at the National Conference Center, Leesburg, Virginia. The general theme of the Convention is ‘Family: the home of love, source of life and the school of faith’.
