Convention Souvenir Release

New Hyde Park, NY – 8 September 2012

On September 8th, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Ever-Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, His Excellency Bishop Mar Eusebius, along with the priests of the Exarchial Curia, celebrated the Holy Qurbono in the chapel of the Bishop’s House. The Holy Qurbono began at 9AM and was attended by members of the Exarchial Pastoral Council as well as other committee members of this year’s North American Convention. The Holy Qurbono was followed by the final meeting of the Convention Committee. During this meeting the financial reports of the convention were submitted and an evaluation was made.

Also, during this meeting, His Excellency officially released the convention souvenir, most fittingly titled “Growth in Faith and Holiness” in concordance with the theme of the Convention. The first copy was handed over to the Pastoral Council Secretary and General Secretary for the Convention, Mr. Philip John, of St. Mary’s Malankara Catholic Church, New Rochelle.

The souvenir was completed due to the dedication and hard work of the editorial board and design team, who under the direction and guidance of the editors-in-chief, worked tirelessly to prepare the souvenir within one month of the convention. A special word of appreciation to Reverend Father Abraham Lukose and to Mr. Sunil Chacko who served as editors-in-chief and to the souvenir editorial board and design team for their efforts.

The convention souvenir will immediately be made available for distribution to all parishes and missions.
