Rev. Monsignor Peter Kochery felicitated

Rev. Monsignor Peter Kochery, the Vicar General of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Exarchate, who has been honored by the Holy Father with the title ‘Chaplain to the Holy Father’ was accorded an official felicitation by the Exarchate on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 at the St. Thomas Syro-Malankara Catholic parish in New Jersey by the Syro-Malankara Catholic Exarchate. The celebration started with a thanksgiving Holy Mass celebrated by His Excellency the Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Mar Eusebius, Bishop of the Exarchate and concelebrated by Rev. Msgr. Peter Kochery and many Rev. Fathers. Rev. Fr. Brendan Williams of the Diocese of Trenton preached the homily. Many of our faithful from our parishes in Long Island, Queens, New Rochelle, Rockland and Philadelphia participated in the Holy Mass. After the celebration of the Holy Mass there was a short felicitation meeting. Rev. Fr. Jacob John welcomed the gathering and Bishop Eusebius, Rev. Fr. Augustine Mangalath, Father Brendan, Mr. James George, Mr. John Varghese, etc. felicitated the new Monsignor. Monsignor Peter Kochery thanked the gathering. The celebration was concluded with agape.
